Today has been an extremely busy day. But not busy with crochet. It’s been a busy one in my day job as a journalist. I’m on weekend newsdesk duty and news has been breaking all day.
This pile of yarn has been sitting next to me for most of the evening, waiting to be made into swatches of interesting stitch designs from my new book. But you can also see my shorthand on my notepad, which has taken up more of my time than the yarn. This is the only bit I’ve managed to do:
It’s a simple one to start with, very easy to do but looks pretty. I reckon it could be used for lots of different things too, and would work in different weights of yarn. Hopefully tomorrow night, after a full shift in the office, I’ll get to try a few more.
